We were ranch boys....
Not by choice. It was just who we were.
"Here comes the ranch boys". That would be the words muttered from the Burnet public school kids when a long white 15 passenger dodge van rolled up, or the infamous school bus 2 pulled into the school grounds. I was young when I went into the ranch so it took some time to get used to the term "ranch boy". Seventy one other boys I lived with split into five dorms.
